How MEye Health Can Help

Most diabetic eye disease will not present symptoms until permanent changes have occurred.  Our detailed examination can detect the early stages of diabetic eye disease.

    1. List of medications, supplements, eye drops currently in use.
    2. Current glasses/contact lenses in use.
    3. Sunglasses. (If you are over the age of 20 and/or at risk of eye disease, your eyes will be dilated.) Dilating drops expand your pupils, temporarily impairing your near vision and making your eyes light-sensitive. The effects last 2-6 hours in adults and 12 hours in children.
    4. Health/OHIP card.
    5. Private medical insurance card.
    6. Your most recent A1c, blood pressure, and cholesterol level readings.

If you would like us to bill your insurance, please email us 24 hours in advance so that we may predetermine the coverage.
